Insert a new section to read "* Section 1. AS 29.35.131(b), 29.35.131(c), 29.35.131(d), 29.35.131(e), 29.35.131(f), and 29.35.137(4) are repealed July 1, 1998." Representative Brown moved and asked unanimous consent that Amendment No. 1 be adopted. Representative G.Davis objected. The question being: "Shall Amendment No. 1 be adopted?" The roll was taken with the following result: SB 55 Second Reading Amendment No. 1 YEAS: 18 NAYS: 19 EXCUSED: 3 ABSENT: 0 Yeas: Barnes, Brice, Brown, B.Davis, Elton, Finkelstein, Grussendorf, Kubina, Mackie, MacLean, Martin, Navarre, Nicholia, Parnell, Robinson, Therriault, Vezey, Willis Nays: Austerman, Bunde, G.Davis, Foster, Green, Hanley, Ivan, James, Kelly, Kohring, Kott, Moses, Mulder, Ogan, Phillips, Porter, Rokeberg, Toohey, Williams 1995-03-28 House Journal Page 0961 SB 55 Excused: Davies, Masek, Sanders Ivan changed from "Yea" to "Nay". Therriault changed from "Nay" to "Yea". And so, Amendment No. 1 was not adopted. Representative Vezey moved and asked unanimous consent that SB 55 be considered engrossed, advanced to third reading and placed on final passage. There being no objection, it was so ordered. SB 55 was read the third time. The question being: "Shall SB 55 pass the House?"
